Ellicya Naidoo (born October 29, 2007) is a British Mauritian filmmaker based in England, United Kingdom. She is known for documenting her life experiences whilst developing her filmmaking skills as a current student by creating short clips, films and music videos. Naidoo runs a YouTube channel that features vlogs, mini documentaries and short cinematic messages. Drawing inspiration from directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu, Alfonso Cuarón, Gawx, Damien Chazelle, Jordan Peele and Luca Guadagnino. As for cinematography, Naidoo is heavily inspired by Emmanuel Lubezki's work and his immersive long-takes. Naidoo continues to push her filmmaking content on social media platforms showing her experimental styles to finding her auteur style. She's directed The Creative Slump Short (2025), and The Last Week Of High School Filmed On A Camcorder (2024) which were highly credited. As for recent projects her newest short film Routine (2026) is released digitally on YouTube and an external project she is featured on The Unseen life of British Mammals (2026) as a Presenter, Assistant Director, Camera Operator and Editor.
